Matthews, Carter & Boyce is pleased to announce our firm has been named to Accounting Today’s Regional Leaders for 2021. The annual recognition is part of Accounting Today’s annual list recognizing the country’s Top 100 Firms.
Firms have traditionally been recognized for “cutting edge growth strategies and exciting new service offerings,” according to Daniel Hood, Editor-in-Chief. He adds, “More and more we’re seeing innovation, creativity and sophistication in even the smallest firms.” This year’s publication featured insight from Regional Leaders in a variety of areas, including approaches to help ensure sustainable growth during a particularly challenging time. Leaders spoke to advances in technology, focus in digital marketing and branding efforts, and adding depth to industry specializations as important strategic considerations.
MCB Principal Kathleen Flaherty said listening to clients and adapting to their changing needs was a key priority for 2020. For example, MCB “added service offerings to assist clients with adapting to evolving business demands. Among these, we expanded offering Outsourced Accounting Services as a Sage Intaact Partner.”
Talking about growth strategies for 2021, she added: “We will continue growing and expanding our key niches, which include closely-held businesses, government contracting, investment companies, not-for-profit, real estate and hospitality. Additionally, we will continue to be nimble in offering PPP loan and loan forgiveness services our clients need in a rapidly-changing and fluid economic and business landscape.”
