Matthews, Carter & Boyce (MCB) is pleased to announce the firm has been named to the 2022 Accounting Today Best Accounting Firms to Work For. 2022 is the 7th Year that MCB has been named to the list.

“We are proud to once again be recognized by Accounting Today for our efforts to build a positive firm culture for our most valued asset – our people.  To be selected for this honor again this year is especially meaningful, as we are marking our 75th anniversary in 2022,” said MCB Managing Principal Jude Covas.

MCB was recognized for its outstanding culture and a variety of programs and initiatives, including offering flexible work schedules, reduced summer hours, access to professional networking and enrichment opportunities, and special social and civic/community events.  Employees are encouraged to volunteer in their community for causes that are meaningful to them and are offered paid time off to participate.  The firm’s “MCB Cares” program is an employee-led initiative to support civic and charitable community organizations.

“The firms on this list represent the best workplaces in the accounting profession,” said Accounting Today Editor-in-Chief Daniel Hood. “They are outstanding places to build a career.”

Accounting Today partners with Best Companies Group to identify companies that build quality workplaces for employees. The annual awards program honors firms from across the country — recognizing the best employers in the accounting profession.

Nominated firms from across the United States participated in a survey process consisting of evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. There is also an employee survey used to measure the employee experience. Data and feedback from both surveys is used to determine the top firms and final rankings.
